The Choir of the Cardinal Domenico Bartolucci Foundation is part of the musical groove of the Roman School, that heritage of performance practice handed down for centuries by the singers of the great Roman Basilicas.
It is a way of singing characterized by a loud sound, but in favor of the exposition of the sacred text.
In the repertoire of the Choir we find the most important representatives of this school: the “princeps musicæ” Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Orlando di Lasso, up to Lorenzo Perosi and, of course, Domenico Bartolucci.
